A few years back, Margaret and Fritz Neimann decided to open a restaurant with an English flare. The twist was that it would be a restaurant and a theatre, specifically the Henry the VIII theatre. Margaret and Fritz launched this new business back when Niagara-on-the-Lake was in need of revitalizing. The businesses were run down and the town was neglected, however, Margaret and Friz believed in the vision of the marketing team and thus The Buttery was born. Of course, we all know how the story ended, Niagara-on-the-Lake became one of the most beautiful towns in Niagara, and of course The Buttery became the go to place for an entertaining evening with the King, his Queen and a few wenches.
A few years later Margaret and Fritz's daughter, Sybille, decided to expand the business, but this time she would join the revitalization team in Niagara Falls. So, history repeats itself as The Buttery has opened it's doors on Queen Streen, three times its original size. The Buttery now boasts a castle for the King, complete with drawbridge. If that's not your cup of tea, then you can relax in one of their comfy chairs or watch the passerby's from their outdoor cafe. Now you can sit at The Buttery and watch as Downtown Niagara Falls revitalizes itself.
